  • Calendar of events and programming scheduled and leadership assigned
  • Leadership completed allyship study and/or training
  • Enthusiastic members engaged with programming: inquire about allyship at summer internship company; run allyship programming with intern cohort; chat group with other classmates discussing allyship
  • Evaluation systems set

Orientation week

  • Begin getting sign-ups for new members and newsletter
  • Membership value and responsibilities clearly articulated

Speak with student and admin D&I leaders to see if the following fit into the larger plan for D&I events

  • Club representative speaks to first years about importance of advocating diversity and inclusion
  • Co-hosting a social event

  • Begin identifying first years for club leadership. Pay special attention to getting at least one advocate from each cohort / class-segment

  • First years understand the mission of the program, the value from participation, and how to get involved
  • Host or co-host a social event
  • Introduce Inclusive Leadership training series and begin getting sign-ups
  • Give survey/diagnostic to first year class

MONTH 1 : weeks 3-4

  • Hold informal lunch meeting to talk about current events
  • Pass out campus allyship guide
  • Continue sending one short educational email per week

  • Hold structured event: scenarios; fishbowl discussion
  • Have contacted 100% of men with personal, one-to-one invitations to see if they want to join the newsletter and/or become a member
  • Start Inclusive Leadership training series
  • Start Equity Advocacy group

Month 3
